A Sugar-Free Easter {Non Candy Easter Basket Ideas}

 Holidays come and go and when they go they can leave our kids in a sugar frenzy. Christmas cookies, Halloween candy, Valentine chocolates . . . but we can save our sanity at Easter by using this fabulous list of non-candy basket stuffer and egg filler ideas. I’ve even arranged things into age categories for your convenience. You’re welcome!

There are plenty of ways to stuff your child’s basket full of fun! It’s kinda like stuffing stockings, I love the challenge each year of coming up with new and exciting ideas. Sometimes I go with a theme, everything in the basket has something in common, maybe all one color, maybe based on favorite book/game/movie. For me it’s just as much fun to fill it as it is for him to find it on Easter morning!

*Safety first! A good rule of thumb for little ones who are still mouthing things – If the item can fit into an empty toilet paper tube it’s likely going to be a choking hazard for your child. Please keep this in mind when choosing small toys for your Easter egg hunt!

One final tip! When preparing the family Egg Hunt, use a specific color for each child! This cuts down on fighting over who got the most eggs. Also, this way you can make sure each child gets age appropriate items. I swear being a Mom means you’ve always got to think 10 steps ahead!

What’s going in your Easter Baskets and Easter Eggs this year?
